Office hour rocks! i went to Prof. Christopher Chua's office hour for Asian American Studies 20A.
I told Prof. Chua how I felt about the midterm and my concern about my learnig strategy,
and also my feelings about Asian American Studies. He gave me a lot of suggestions and support.
It was great talking to him. Having been in Berkeley for more than a month, I found myself somewhat enjoy talking to the professors.
They are always kind and encouraging. I have been to the office hour of my literature class twice and today was my first time to talk with Prof. Chua in the office hour.
Every time I felt I gained a lot more than I expected. During the past three years in NTU, I have never talked to my instructors in office hour. Partly because I didn't think that I need to talk to them with my study since I felt that i could handle them. I did have questions but I only ask them right after the class, and I seldom talked about my own opinions upon the classes. However, now I realized that I have missed so many precious opportunities to have conversations with my instructors in NTU. If I did that, I might learn a lot more about what I am studying and I could understand my instructor more. Their experience and suggestions are so helpful. Office hour really rocks and never hesitate to talk to professors!
